QRnow
QR code vouchers

You sell or give something away. People pick it up with a QR. And it all adds up, with or without signal.

QRnow lets you hand out anything to anyone with control: food at a fair, drinks at a concert, a brand's giveaway, race kits, aid bags. It works online and, if the signal drops, the team keeps going with the Android app.

You set up your event, test it with your phone and tell your people, without talking to anyone.

Setting up and testing is free. The price depends on the size of your event. Whoever buys or receives installs nothing. Their phone, a photo of the QR or a piece of paper is enough.

No signal
  1. 1 · The organizer sets up their event in minutes: what they offer and at which stations.
  2. 2 · People buy from their phone: online, by bank transfer or at the cashier.
  3. 3 · Each voucher is a signed QR that stays on their phone, with nothing to install.
  4. 4 · The signal drops. The cashier keeps selling, in cash, and the voucher goes to the buyer.
  5. 5 · At the station they scan and the screen turns green: hand over. It all adds up.

A sample fair, live

This event is made up and runs in loops all day: it opens, fills up, peaks and winds down. These are the same numbers the organizer sees, with nobody’s name.

You ask for a token, see it on your phone and scan it. No account, no data and no charge.

What it's for

If something has to get to someone, with control, QRnow works.

“It works for the neighborhood fair. For the church bazaar. For the bars at the concert. For the caps a brand gives away. For the race kits, with the right size. For the aid food bags, with proof that each one arrived. For company uniforms. For the cafeteria lunch, every day. For the coat check. For a barbecue with friends… One voucher, one QR, one handout. QRnow counts the rest.”

Lety, fair organizer. A made-up character: what she says isn't.

What would you use it for?

Every case on the list is set up with a template and a few settings. Nobody writes any code. See all use cases

How it works

Four steps. The third one is what matters.

You set up your event

Pick the template that fits best and answer a few questions in your own words. What you hand out, to whom, how it's paid, where it's picked up.

People buy or receive

Ahead of time from their phone, at the cashier on the day of the event, from a list you uploaded, or as a brand gift after completing a task.

Each voucher is a signed QR

It's good for one specific thing: a hotdog, a kit, a cap. It carries a signature that any team phone checks on its own. It stays on the person's phone, in a photo or on paper.

At the station: green or red

Whoever hands out scans, and the whole screen turns green (what to give and to whom) or red (why not). One tap and on to the next. At the end, it all adds up: sold, handed out, cash and anything odd.

With or without signal, plainly

When the signal drops, the event goes on.

At a crowded event the network gets overloaded or doesn't reach. That's what the team's Android app is for: the day before, each phone gets ready online and downloads what it needs. On event day, the cashier sells and the stations hand out even with no signal. When it's back, everything uploads and adds up on its own.

✓ What we do guarantee

  • No one can fake or alter a voucher: the signature is checked on the phone itself.
  • Cash sales and offline handouts work with the team app on Android phones.
  • Each station knows how much it has, subtracts every handout and warns you when it runs out.
  • When it reconnects, everything adds up and every irregularity is identified: at which station, at what time, with which phone.

✗ What we won't promise you

  • A voucher shown at two stations that can't see each other, with no network, can go through at both. It's caught afterward, not before.
  • That's why, without internet, the usual setup is for each voucher to be good at only one station, or for the team's phones to be within sight of each other to call out what was handed out.
  • Taking card payments offline. With no signal, you take cash.
  • That the web page works with no signal: without internet, the team uses the Android app.
  • That buyers have to install something. They never need to.
OnlineEverything from the browser, nothing to install: from a group of friends to a small event.
OfflineThe Android app for whoever sells and hands out. iPhone users use the web page with internet.

The modules

It's not a program per event. It's modules you switch on and off.

Tap a template and see which modules light up. Your dashboard shows only those; what you don't use doesn't appear. If halfway through you want to add a cashier or a photo at handout, you switch it on from the dashboard without redoing anything.

Every customer sets up their event their own way

Tell us what kind of event it is, choose how people take part, and your event is set up. The three ways to take part:

Fixed list

Available

Each person on your list activates their access with their code and picks their password.

Made-up example: “Club Los Álamos” hands out its season kit to its 200 members; each member logs in with their code and picks up with their QR.

Public with a task

Available

Whoever comes does a task (for example, a survey) and, if it goes well, earns their QR.

Made-up example: “Café Montaña” at a fair: whoever answers its three-question survey wins a mug.

Open sale

Available

Anyone buys with the event link and picks up with their QR.

Made-up example: the “Kermés de San Lucas” sells food ahead of time and at the cashier; each station hands out on scan.
