Who keeps your data
Each event is run by an organization (a club, a company, a brand, a nonprofit…). It decides what data is requested and what for, and it's responsible for it. QRnow keeps that data on its behalf, doesn't use it for anything else and doesn't give it to anyone.
What data and what for
- If you buy: your name and email (and your phone number if you give it), to send you your vouchers and keep you posted on your order.
- If you're on an event's list: what the organizer loaded (name, code and the detail you log in with), so you can see what's yours.
- If you do a brand's task to earn a voucher: only what the campaign asks for, with a checkbox to agree to it; the brand gets your data only if you check that you agree to share it.
- If the event takes a photo at redemption, it says so beforehand in its notice. The photo is saved at reduced size, without location, is used only as proof of the handout, and nobody uses it to recognize faces.
- Photos are seen by the organization's owner and administrators. If a third party requested them (a brand, a donor), that third party sees the ones for its handouts through its link: the photo of what was handed out always, and the photo of a person only if that person agreed to it at the time with a separate checkbox.
- The delivery record for a third party is downloaded as a document with the photos that third party can see, only by those with permission. Downloaded lists never include photos.
- Your voucher doesn't contain your name, phone number or email.
How long
Up to 12 months after the event closes. After that it's deleted or anonymized: the figures remain (how much was sold and handed out), not who you were. The record of what the team did (the log) can't be edited and is kept.
Your rights
If you bought, go to “My data” from your confirmation email or from your wallet: you can see what data of yours there is, stop getting notices, or ask for it to be deleted. The organization handles it within 30 days; if you have unredeemed vouchers, you choose to lose them or wait until the event closes. Data you left in a campaign you can withdraw or delete yourself from “My data”. To correct something, write to the event's organization (its contact is in each event's notice).
Invoices
QRnow doesn't issue invoices. What you paid online is invoiced by the merchant account you paid through; for what you paid in cash or by bank transfer, ask the event's organization.
